Design
Peter has over 15 years designing long-term, integrated leadership development programmes. While many people claim to customise, CATALYST4 actually does. As these cases show, the content, delivery approach and role that CATALYST4 plays varies markedly. Peter’s capacity to build strategic partnerships and customise development is captured in the recent book “Learning and Performance Matter”, edited by Prem Kumar and Phil Ramsey, 2008.
RECENT EXAMPLES
Case One: A six-month leadership development programme based on Lominger Competencies.
The programme was designed and facilitated by CATALYST4. The programme content is regularly updated to reflect the needs within the industry. The delivery consists of workshops facilitated by CATALYST4 and a partner company, peer learning, reflective writing and leadership reading. The CEO describes the programme as “one of the best leadership programmes he’s been involved with in his career.”
Case Two: An 18-month leadership development programme to assist leaders to transition into General Management roles co-designed by CATALYST4.
CATALYST4 was involved in the overall design of the programme, and worked closely with the executive team and internal HR team to design and deliver the workshops. A key aspect of this design was working closely with the executive team who facilitated large elements of the programme. CATALYST4 and the internal HR team worked closely with the executives to design key sessions – including an internal case study, presentations, and Q&A sessions.
The workshops incorporated customised exercises based on actual work experiences (including videoed sessions of meetings); facilitating skill based workshops, and integrating sessions with partner consulting organisations.
Case Three: A six month leadership development programme focused on “leading across the white spaces” co-designed by CATALYST4 and the internal Human Resource team.
The programme incorporates international leadership experts, internal executive presentations and case studies, development sessions facilitated by CATALYST4, collaborative leadership projects and collaborative leadership reflections.
